Imposter Syndrome – an Entrepreneurial opportunity?

Mike Cannon-Brookes is co-founder and co-CEO of Aussie tech behemoth Atlassian. He’s reportedly worth over $15 billion US and at 41, you’d be assuming he started the company knowing precisely what he was doing when it all began in 2002.

According to the man himself, that couldn’t be farther from the truth.

Impostor Syndrome refers to an internal experience of believing that you are not as competent as others perceive you to be – a sensation many of us experience at some point, and for some it’s almost constant ... a bit like Mike …

In his 2017 TED talk, Mike discusses his experiences with Imposter Syndrome as an Entrepreneur and how he has managed to turn that into a positive both in his business and his personal life, time and time again.

If you’re a business owner or entrepreneur yourself, grab a cup of tea and spend 13 mins with Mike below – his chat is as enlightening a sit is entertaining.
